She is not an arty heroin anymore. Things have really changed for Nadita. First she got married to the AD guy Saumya Sen and now she is having loads of offers lining up. Though she dismisses any special treatment or favours coming her way because of her new found happiness, she does find it amusing that some people attribute the sudden interest in her by producers from mainstream cinema to her marital status.

Nandita who is scheduled to tour the UK and the USA by the end of this year with Roysten Abel's play The Spirit of Anne Frank, that premiered in Delhi last year, has received more offers to do theatre, apart from some new films – an Ismat Chugtai adaptation in Urdu with Paresh Rawal and an English film to be made in New Zealand.

She is also being considered by the likes of Subhash Ghai and Boney Kapoor for their forthcoming projects. Marriage may be the end of the road for some actresses but it sure is a boon to some others. What next Nandita - your foray into classical dance and music? That wouldn`t be surprising considering that the lady has trained in both the disciplines for years before becoming an actor. Now, that sure would make her come full circle and we`d welcome her there too.
